MEDICCARE SUPPLEMENT PLANS A

WHAT ARE THE MOST POPULAR MEDIGAP OR MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT PLANS ?

Prior to the 2018 Plan Year Medigap Plan F was the most popular Medicare Supplement plan for those enrolling in Medicare for the first time, followed by Plan C .

As of January 1, 2022 here is the data of which plans people currently are enrolled in.  55% have a Plan G policy, 36% have are enrolled in Plan N, 7% have a High Deductible plan G, and finally, 2% still have either Plan F or the High Deductible version of Plan F.

* Plans F and G also offer a high-deductible plan in some states. With this option, you must pay for Medicare-covered costs (coinsurance, co-payments, and deductibles) up to the deductible amount of $2,356 in 2022 before your policy pays anything. (Plans C and F aren't available to people who are newly eligible for Medicare on or after January 1, 2020.)

** For Plans K and L, after you meet your out-of-pocket yearly limit and your yearly Part B deductible ($233 in 2022), the Medigap plan pays 100% of covered services for the rest of the calendar year.

*** Plan N pays 100% of the Part B coinsurance, except for a co-payment of up to $20 for some office visits and up to a $50 co-payment for emergency room visits that don't result in inpatient admission.me, look around, and learn all there is to know about us.
